Merkourios, Utrecht Journal for International and European Law, is issuing a call for papers to be published in its forthcoming 77th edition on Gender in European and International Law. The Board of Editors of Merkourios invites you to submit papers addressing any gender related issue; topics may include, but are not limited to international and/or European human rights law issues such as non-discrimination, employment, corporate social responsibility, health, family life, children's right, hate speech, terrorism and the process to strengthen the treaty body system, as well as other areas of international law such as peacekeeping, international humanitarian law, environmental law, women and development, indigenous law, refugee and migration law, legal ethics, and international customary law. All types of manuscripts, from socio-legal to comparative will be considered. Authors may be graduate students, PhD-students, post-graduates, professors or university lecturers. Merkourios will select articles based on quality of research and writing, diversity, and relevance of topic. It is imperative that all submissions conform to the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA). A copy of the OSCOLA can be found at http://denning.law.ox.ac.uk/published/oscola.shtml or can be requested from the Merkourios Board of Editors. Merkourios has a word limit of 15000 words, including footnotes. We encourage Authors to submit Abstracts by 13 February 2013. Deadline for Submissions: 13 March 2013.
